our vision

In 2 Kings 3:16, God spoke to the people of Israel in the middle of the desert: “Dig ditches in the dry ground.” And God filled them with water.

It was an act of faith. They saw no clouds in the sky, but they obeyed the Word of the LORD. When they made space, God filled the ditches with water.

In the same way, God is calling us today in the Netherlands: Make space. Dig in faith. Prepare the way.

We are taking the next step: Our own building in the Haarlemmermeer region – A center of revival for this country.

Moved to IJburg and the start of River Bible Institute Netherlands.

New building
June 2020

Moved to Amsterdam-Duivendrecht in a new building. Here we experienced explosive growth!

External Locations
April 2023

After our lease ended, we spent a year using various external locations, such as the RAI, Johan Cruijff Arena, the Royal Tropical Institute, and the Open Air Theatre.

March 2024

After an amazing renovation, we were finally able to open the doors of our new building in Hoofddorp.

For thus says the LORD: You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with water, so that you, your livestock, and your pack animals can drink.

Project Phases

1. Preparation & Design – €1.0 million

The foundation begins on paper: permits, architecture, and technical preparation. Here we are already digging in faith.

2. Purchase of the Building/Land – €3.6 million

The place where it will all happen. We are purchasing the building or plot of land where the new River Church building will be located.

3. Structural Shell – €1.8 million

From demolition to structural construction. We are making space – literally – for the new.

4. Installations (water, electricity, plumbing) – €1.5 million

Everything needed to make the building functional and welcoming.

5. Interior Fit-Out – €1.5 million

From chairs to rooms – we are creating a space that radiates excellence.

6. Parking and Outdoor Area – €1.2 million

Ample space for thousands of visitors, even outside the building.

7. River Schools – €1.2 million

Space for training, education, and spiritual equipping – the place where the next leaders are raised up.

8. Kids Church, Youth & Community Space – €1.2 million

Hangout areas, kids’ spaces for all ages, and a spacious lobby to connect with the River family.

9. Lighting, Sound & Media – €0.9 million

The best equipment to broadcast our services online and on TV, everything needed to reach the lost with the Good News!
