The River is a church with many children. To ensure that every parent/caregiver can enjoy the service themselves, our River Kids is available to all children between the ages of 1-12. Is the church accessible by public transportation?
Our location is easily accessible by public transport via the bus lines from Hoofddorp Station to Graan voor Visch.
Shuttle service:
The River Netherlands offers a free shuttle service to and from Hoofddorp Station for anyone who wants to attend our services but doesn’t have their own transportation. Our shuttle bus is ready to bring you to the church comfortably and safely!

Is there childcare available for my children?
For children aged 1–12, there is a kids’ church. In kids’ church, your children have the opportunity to experience church together with peers and to explore and grow in their own personal relationship with God.
Is translation available?
For both services, there is live translation from Dutch to English and from English to Dutch. You can easily download the free “Live Voice” app to listen directly on your own mobile device. Ask one of our team members for help if needed.
How long does the service last?
We place great value on time spent in God’s presence, so our goal is not to rush you out of the service, but to encourage, empower, and build you up for the week ahead. Our average service lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
Is there sufficient parking available?
Parking is available in the surrounding area. Our Parking Team is ready to assist you in finding a spot.
